I came across this pattern and just knew it would work to create a boy’s vest…I had been searching and searching for a one piece vest pattern that you didn’t have to make 3 pieces or more to create it & then sew it together & this was it…so major thank to the Mandy for designing this sweater pattern…I wanted to be able to just attach the bow if needed and be able to remove quickly as well so I created a chained necklace style for it to attach around a babies neck under the collar area….I plan to make many more to keep in my stash for when people have babies….So I have a quick gift to grab out…This pattern used less then a skein of yarn of caron yarns….
I wanted/needed to make my niece a little girls shrug but I had no pattern so I grabbed the one I used for toddler and decided to modify it…Upped it to a size 10-12 matching it to a Girls shirt of the same size to make sure it would work and then added a button to make sure it will stay on her better 🙂
Came across this free pattern just love this :O) and it whips up quickly the sizes are 3/4/5 however she has sizes 6.7,8 available to buy for $3 and I will be picking up that as well…I see many more in the future I am working on half a dozen to start for a family who is in need of some extra helps and thought these would be nice for her 3 year old..Cost to me was just time but less then one skein of yarn $3.00 if I use a coupon for the yarn or pick it up at thrift stores even less…maybe $1.00 per top
I whipped up 2 single crochet beanies in Toddler Size to gift w/ sweater I posted before..
Measurement information on the beanies 18-19 inches around and 8 inches long as I wanted them a little longer to roll up as needed…
