Crochet Speaker Case

Published April 21, 2016 by Jayashiangel

I bought this speaker for $10 for my cell phone it works for both talking on the cell via the speaker as well as listening to music at work however I was worried about it breaking while in my purse or bag at work…..so I whipped up a speaker case…for less the $1 as I had the scrap cotton yarn laying around the house…it took less then maybe 2 hours…

Little Girl’s Purse

Published April 20, 2016 by Jayashiangel

I wanted to whip up something small for the friends little girl I have been making clothes for and I thought a purse was just want the Crochet Doctor ordered…I wanted a pattern that was simple quick plus would be perfect to add things (appliques or buttons if desired) I also wanted a pattern that I may use to make more in the future that also didn’t have lots of pieces as some patterns did…Using the pattern I adjusted the size for a little 2 year old and shortened/changed the strap for less likely-hood of a chocking hazard…This pattern would be cute for quick last minute gift for anyone plus it would be a cute bag to use as a gift bag as well depending on the size made…Mine is 7inches tall & 7 inches wide  with 45 stitches for the short straps…

Rainbow Granny Dress/Tunic

Published April 20, 2016 by Jayashiangel

As I try out new patterns  and explore all the wonderful free pattern out there….I am so amazed at the simplest timeless stitch of the granny stitch (or granny squares) I have seen lots of blankets or even clothes but I could never get to granny squares to be close to the same size if I tried for year LOL…..Until I came across this lovely pattern for this granny dress/tunic depending on the length one makes it…Granny Dress What I like about this pattern is it’s for bigger kids size 18 months to 24months I am sure if one used a larger hook/different yarn I could easily get a larger size w/ a little playing around… This yarn was sock yarn I am unsure of the brand as I picked it up at the thrift store in a random bag… It’s so pretty in color…
