This other night my niece who is 8 was over for the fourth of July and she got cold due to the AC Unit..I told her that I would make her little shawl so I took a few measurement from wrist to wrist was 40 inches and down her back from her neck to past her rear as I wanted to make a shawl that was not too long and I asked what size kids clothes she wears Size 10

Starting chain used a larger hook J to make the row flexible and not get to tight…The switched to a H to make tighter stitches Note…Next time I would use larger hook to get it more Lacey/Airy this was very tight..

Measurement Charts

—–> Measure arm length 40 inches from Wrist to Wrist…

—–>Back of Neck to waist length was 12.5 inches…

——>6 inches in to sew it up on each end

I think it turned out pretty good..:O)will keep the pattern on hand & see many more in the future for both family and friend but I think will make a few to donate to Hospice of the Valley as well….
